A traditional pub at the heart of its local community
Situated in the heart of Cranbrook, a new town on the edge of Exeter and just 4 miles from the M5 and 3 miles from Exeter airport, the Cranberry Farm is the perfect example of a traditional pub at the heart of its local community.
Built in 2017 in the style of a Devon farmhouse with attached barn, the pub is the only building on the Cranbrook development with chimneys, in order to service its beautiful open fireplaces.
Whilst the UK does not naturally grow cranberries and there are no cranberry farms here, the residents of Cranbrook are affectionately known as Cranberries, so the intended name of the pub was changed from Cranbrook Farm to Cranberry Farm.
With a beautiful terraced garden, as well as regular events, the Cranberry Farm really is a pub for all seasons and occasions.
Following the Government’s instruction on the 20th March 2020, we have temporarily closed our doors to protect our guests and our team from the risk of spreading COVID-19.
We are now focussing on the immediate future and how we can continue to make people’s day during the temporary closure of our pubs. We will also ensure that we are well prepared to re-open when it is right to do so.
Others come – they stay for a while, they flourish, they build – and they go. It is their way. But we remain. We are an enduring lot… we wait, and are patient, and back we come. And so it will ever be.
Old Mout Cider
Old Mout was dreamed up 65 years ago by New Zealander Wanda, who, on a cycling trip to England, took a liking to the local scrumpy. On her return to Nelson, she decided to set up a cidery in her shed! 60 years later, cider pioneers Justin and Scottie, inspired by amazing island fruits, developed a range of award-winning flavours in New Zealand.

Introducing Forum, the brand new lager from Hall & Woodhouse.
Forum is a 4.2% refreshing Helles style lager, with a delicate flavour from the Weihenstephan yeast and a subtle fruity lemon character from Hallertau Blanc and Huell Melon hops.
The name refers not only to Blandford Forum, the location of the H&W brewery where this new, exciting lager is brewed, but also to a meeting or gathering where ideas and views can be exchanged. And where better to meet and put the world to rights than in a traditional British pub, where you can enjoy this refreshing drink with friends and family.
So what are you waiting for, make sure you try a pint next time you visit.
